15 Comments Alright so i've gotten a bunch of emails about the artwork that Sage gave me on the show. I was seriously seriously excited about it. I love it so much. Look:
I know. So special. i LOVE it. Thank you so much, Sage.
And here's a teaser mood board for tomorrow night:

I wish it wasn't airing right after last week - they both have mid-century in them. But scheduling changed things around. Don't worry, next week will definitely shake it up.

I already love it. Are you sure you can't come to SF to do a couple shows??? Just sayin, you'd be a hit!
That is a killer mood board! Can't wait to see how it turns out in Joy's house.
I was a fan of yours right from the start on Design Star, and you are just ridiculously amazing! Would die if you come to SF!! :)
Love it already! I can't wait to see the finished product. I love that you are a fearless wallpaperer. It adds so much charachter and life to a space!
wow...nicely laid out mood board...so cool..looking forward to the episode
This moodboard is amazing!! I love everything that you've put together here and can't wait to see it in the flesh (well, online) :)
You crack me up that you are such the perfectionist that you are worried about two mid century inspired shows running back to back. But this is exactly what my thoughts would be if I were doing it. No one is going to mind. People loved last weeks so much. They'd gladly just watch a rerun of it...I think. So far...your show is living up to all my expectations. Best thing on HGTV by FAR!!!!!!!! No, I'm going to take that back...best design show on TV by FAR because I'm so sick of House Hunters...I could puke...so I don't want to compare your show to House Hunters. I realize House Hunters is super cheap to produce but I don't even bother to look on HGTV any more during the week because its all House Hunters all the time. I only watch HGTV on Saturday nights now. And your show is the huge highlight of it.
I can't wait! I've been wanting those cb2 side tables for so long, this may push me over the edge to finally buy them. I'm also on the hunt for a new dining table and chairs and am dying to see how this room turns out.
That sofa is out of this world. I can't wait!
Thats an outstanding moodboard. Its so vivid and enticing. I love it and your work.
I love it. Sage's cute kite-flying art reminded me of this: http://www.johansvenson.com/2010/02/roadside-projects/
And that's a sweet mood board! I'm dying to know what will become of the cart.
Nita is right - so many of your viewers are super-relieved to watch something that doesn't show someone looking to buy a house ("Gee Honey, I don't know, I think this towel rack makes the bathroom look dated, let's find another house") or sell a house ("I bet there are dozens of buyers who want a purple & orange striped dining room!").
Plus you're so refreshingly humble. Or you fake that really well :) Fingers crossed that the HGTV Gods renew you again and again and again.
I'm confused--was episode 3 supposed to air last night? I live in California, and at 9 p.m. Comcast re-aired episode 2.
Hi emily, just saw you first two shows and really liked them, i live in l.a. part time and
was wondering where that warehouse you when to in the show was to buy some of the
items it looked really interesting. it was the show that the color board above is showing.
thank you, looking forward to more shows, lorraine
